She joined us full-time after graduating in 2021. She also holds a B.A in Environmental Studies from University of North Carolina and is originally from the Atlanta area. Candace has two years of transportation planning experience.
Candace is experienced in research, spatial analysis, project prioritization, public and stakeholder involvement and her areas of expertise include equity in transportation planning and resilience. Her graduate research explored current community engagement practices for transportation plans in the Metro Atlanta region, and methods to improve these practices to better incorporate the needs of a community. Through working with MMP, Candace looks forward to expanding her transportation planning expertise in smart mobility, connected and autonomous vehicles, and data visualization.
