Jonathan has over 20 years of experience in travel demand modeling, traffic forecasting, traffic operations, and data analytics.  Over that time, Jonathan's role has expanded from serving as technical support staff, technical lead, and then group leader for a broad range of project types including regional MPO models, statewide models, and complex corridor studies.  He has developed and/or applied travel demand models supporting projects in AL, FL, GA, MS, TN, and TX.  He has provided on-call model technical support for the Atlanta Regional Commission for almost 20 years and for the Georgia Department of Transportation for almost 10 years. 

 

His work has included overseeing the development of Interchange Modification Reports, Traffic Engineering Studies, and design traffic forecasts, particularly in the state of Georgia following GDOT's Design Traffic Forecasting Manual.  Jonathan is incredibly passionate about the use of data for model calibration/validation, project planning, and concept development.  Jonathan currently leads the Technical Planning Services Division here at Modern Mobility Partners.
