Malaika has 20 years of experience from a variety of civil, traffic engineering and roadway projects. She is well-versed in road safety strategy; road safety analysis as part of design exception and variance development for state agencies; traffic and transportation engineering; public amenities; infrastructure design and project management on behalf of global multidisciplinary engineering consulting firms.
She served as the Project Manager and Project Traffic Engineering Lead for numerous GDOT projects that included transportation concept development; safety and operational studies; traffic signal design and intersection improvement projects. She has a working knowledge of many design, traffic analysis and simulation programs, including HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, GuidSign and MicroStation.
