This position will assist our award-winning growing firm in the preparation of transportation planning and traffic engineering studies, reports, and analyses across all modes. The individual will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and to assist with planning and technical tasks for a variety of projects. Tasks may include but are not limited to:

Collect, compile, clean, review, edit, and analyze geospatial data, usually in GIS format, from a variety of sources related to transportation planning and/or traffic engineering

This position will assist our growing firm in the preparation of transportation and transit planning studies, reports, and analyses. The candidate will have the opportunity to assist senior leadership and transportation planners in the field of emerging technologies and autonomous vehicles readiness planning, transportation and transit planning, project prioritization and performance measures, and funding/grant strategies.
The individual will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team to complete a variety of projects. Tasks may include but are not limited to:

Assist project manager or task leads in communicating project activities, schedule, and analysis results for clients or other interested parties

This position will assist our award-winning growing firm in the preparation of transportation planning studies, reports, and analyses. Specifically, the individual will have the opportunity to explore their transportation interests and work with a dynamic team to complete a variety of projects, such as:
• Smart mobility planning reflecting new and emerging technologies and trends
• Long range transportation plans, regional transportation plans, comprehensive transportation plans, multimodal plans, etc.
• Statewide transportation plans across all modes
• Transit planning for urban and rural transit systems, as well as fixed route and on-demand service
• Corridor studies
• Infrastructure funding strategies and revenue forecasting
• Federal discretionary grant applications under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law
• Desktop scans (literature reviews) or research projects, such as for the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP)
Tasks may include but are not limited to:
• Assist with research and studies in transportation planning including best practices, literature scans, and emerging technologies
