Ran holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Hohai University. Ran has a solid understanding of traffic analysis, travel demand modeling, transportation planning, and GIS. His experience in traffic analysis, travel demand modeling, GIS analysis, tool development, and data analysis provide him the unique ability to process and analyze big data and develop tools to support the transportation planning process.

 

Ran is proficient with Synchro, Highway Capacity Software (HCS), FREEVAL, CUBE, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and R, and is a frequent user of MOVES and TNM.

 

Ran is certified as a Professional Engineer and a Road Safety Professional (Level 1).
