April is an alumna of Georgia Gwinnett College, where she majored in Human Services with a concentration in Social Work. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.

During her college years, she volunteered as a tutor and interpreter, assisting both children and parents with English. April gained intern experience at an Atlanta-area response center, where she assisted with coordinating utilities, rental, and emergency shelter services for those in her community.

As an Administrative Assistant at Modern Mobility Partners, she supports procurement, events, onboarding, the M3 mentoring program, translations, office management, community outreach events, and project support.

​

Additionally, April has provided support on projects. She helped to create and edit modules for the AMPO MPO Institute Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) Deep Dive Course Development. She also she assisted in organizing the bus stop signage for stops throughout the Metro Atlanta area for the ATL Xpress: Redefining the Ride Implementation Planning.
