Chisun is a graduate of the PhD program in City and Regional Planning at Georgia Tech, specializing in various research areas such as megaregion planning, regional dynamics, the social influence of the built environment, and sustainability. During his time as a graduate research assistant at the Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development at Georgia Tech, he actively participated in research projects focused on transportation sustainability, multi-jurisdictional planning, freight planning, and megaregions. Furthermore, Chisun possesses valuable work experience in the public sector, gained through his employment at the Gyeonggi Research Institute, a government-affiliated research institute in Korea. Here, he played a pivotal role in researching and developing economic development and housing policies. His expertise lies in spatial analysis, statistical modeling, and network analytics.
