Dave has over 20 years of transportation experience in the public sector working on a variety of high profile projects.

Before joining Modern Mobility Partners in 2024, Dave was the Deputy Director of Transportation at the City of Roswell.  In this role Dave was responsible for the City's Engineer Design and Planning Divisions.  He helped guide the City's efforts during the development of the Transportation Master Plan, Bicycle and Pedestrain Master Plan, TSPLOST program, as well as conducting public outreach activities with the City's leadership and stakeholders. 

Prior to Roswell, Dave worked in GDOT's Intermodal Office working on both commuter and intercity passenger rail planning efforts as well cordinating freight rail projects across Georgia.  Later Dave earned his Master’s of Public Administration degree from Georgia State University while working in GDOT's Planning Office.  Starting initially as a transportation planner, but later moved into a Branch Chief position responsible for multiple MPO's and the development of the STIP (Statewide Transportation Improvement Program). Other examples of projects that Dave helped lead while at GDOT were the Planning Level Cost Estimation study and the I-75 North Atlanta to Chattanooga corridor study.   

Dave is also a certified planner through the American Institute of Certified Planners.
