Koyel Das has a background in spatial analysis, urban planning, and data-driven decision making. She holds a Master’s degree from New York University’s Center for Urban Science and Progress, where she focused on applying GIS and data analytics to understand urban systems and support more informed planning decisions.

Before moving to the United States for graduate school, Koyel completed her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in Urban Design in India. Her academic and professional experience has centered on using spatial data, mapping, and urban analysis to study mobility, land use, and the built environment.

At MMP, Koyel supports projects involving GIS analysis, data visualization, and spatial research to help clients better understand transportation systems and make informed planning decisions. She enjoys exploring how data and mapping can translate complex urban challenges into clear insights for planners, agencies, and communities.
